Papercraft & Cricut Card Challenges November 2026

Make a card, enter a challenge, get inspired by a whole crowd of crafters. These are real, active challenge blogs for card makers, die-cutters and scrapbookers, with the current theme and deadline for each. Cricut and other cutting machines are welcome anywhere die cuts are.

How these work: each challenge blog posts a theme (a color combo, a sketch, a technique or "anything goes"). You make a new project, share it on your blog or a public gallery, and add the link to the post's link-up before the deadline. Many have small prizes, and almost all have a design team picking favorites.

Themes and deadlines below are as posted on each organizer's own blog when we checked on October 22, 2026 (Central time). Most change every week or two, so the official post always wins. We only list challenges with a public blog or site; Facebook-only groups aren't included.

New to card challenges? Start here

  • Start with "Anything Goes". Holly and Ivy, Do-All Kreatives and Just Us Girls' stencil week let you enter almost any card.
  • Link the post, not your homepage. Use the direct link to the project in the link-up (Inlinkz or Linky Tools).
  • Read the rules box. Most want new work, a link back to the challenge, and some cap how many other challenges you can combine.
  • Watch the time zone. Deadlines are often Eastern, Pacific or UK time.
  • Leave a few comments on other entries. It's the friendliest part of the hobby.

Entering with a Cricut?

  • Die-cut challenges count machine cuts. Cut It Up accepts die cuts from manual dies or a cutting machine.
  • Test cut first on each new cardstock, and slow down for tiny details.
  • Use score lines for crisp card bases, and layer pieces with foam tape for depth.
  • Using a purchased SVG? Check its license, and check the challenge rules about brands and digital work.
