30 Day Sketchbook Challenge 2027: Dates, Price & How to Join (Jan 1)

Sketch in your sketchbook for 30 days in a row from January 1, with a daily prompt emailed to you, guest-artist tutorials, weekly Zoom sessions and a Facebook group. It's a paid event run by UK artist Susan Yeates since 2018; 2027 is the 10th edition.

30 Day Sketchbook Challenge 2027 prompt list
🗓️ The daily prompts are private: they're emailed each morning (UK time) to people who have signed up, and posted in the course portal. They aren't published ahead of time. Past examples from the official page: "things that are purple" (day 7, 2025), "ink" (day 2, 2024), "petals" (day 1, 2023) and "things we wear" (day 18, 2022).
How to join 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge 2027
- Join the 2027 waiting list on susanyeates.co.uk. Registration for the 2026 edition opened in late November, so expect a similar timing.
- Pay for Standard or VIP (one-off payments, not a subscription), or join through the Inspire membership.
- From January 1, sketch the daily prompt for 30 days in any medium, for 30 seconds or 3 hours.
- Share your pages with #30daysketchbookchallenge.
